Our Sunflower Room cares for children from the age of 3 months to 1 year. The room is bright and airy and contains a variety of baby equipment which is playful and stimulating. Our team of professional staff endeavour to provide a peaceful, homely and loving atmosphere for the children in our care.
Bluebell and Flowerpot Rooms
Our Bluebell and Flowerpot Rooms care for children between the ages of 1 and 2 years. The toddlers have access to a number of different activity areas to encourage their social and physical development. Quiet areas are set aside for children who require a nap in the day or just time to relax and unwind.
Our Butterfly Room cares for the 2-3 year age group allowing the children a larger range of facilities. Various resources are available for use including wet play, arts and crafts etc. Quiet areas are available for reading, sing-a-longs and nap times if required.
Our Garden Room cares for the 3-5 year age group. The children learn through play. The routine is a little more structured in order to prepare them for school. Children are encouraged to make choices and have fun. A wide variety of resources are accessible throughout the day. Independence, listening and sharing are all promoted during our daily routing.
Bumbles Holiday Club
Our self contained Holiday and Out of School Club cares for the 5 - 12 year age group and provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and relax. The wealth of indoor and outdoor activities ensure that the children have lots of fun.
The Honey Pot provides a secure outside play area equipped with slides, climbing frame, sandpit and a wide range of outdoor toys to enjoy. This area has the benefit of a grassed area and covered soft play area allowing children to access the playground in all weathers.
Gardens and nature trail
Within the 2 acre gardens there are separate areas for different activities for the children to enjoy. These include:
•The childrens' flower and vegetable garden
•Woodland for rambles and nature trails
•Lawns for supervised games and sports and picnics on warm sunny days
The babies are regularly taken into the gardens in prams for fresh air which is vital for health.
At the Honey Pot Nursery we are well aware that parents need to know what their child has been doing during their stay at the nursery, therefore our policy is to provide a record of your child's activities during their day.
